Senior Pastor

Rick Foddrill
I was born and raised in Northwest Indiana in the little city of Hobart about one hour from Chicago. I grew up going to church and believing that God, or at least “a god,” existed but it was not until I was in the 8th grade that the Lord brought me to saving faith in the completed work of Jesus Christ in the cross and resurrection. As a Junior in High School, the Holy Spirit convicted me of my lack of personal knowledge of the Scriptures and drove me to read. When I did, God made the truth of his Word come alive to me and my walk with Christ became real and personal. Soon after, I felt the Lord calling me to serve Him in full-time ministry to His church. I followed His leading and have had the great privilege of serving in ministry since 2002 as a volunteer youth leader and teacher, Middle School Pastor, Youth Pastor, and now as Associate Pastor of First Baptist.
I graduated from Moody Bible Institute in May of 2006 with a major in Pastoral Ministry and Dallas Theological Seminary in May of 2012 with a Masters of Theology in Pastoral Ministry and Historical Theology.
While at Moody, I fell in love with my wife Laura and followed her to the Central Coast of California where we were married on March 24, 2007. We have three beautiful girls: Emma, Constance, and Bonnie.
I consider it a great joy and privilege to shepherd First Baptist Church! My passion is to see God’s Word awaken and encourage the hearts and minds of His people to love Him and to greatly impact the lives of one another and this community. To God be the glory!

Youth Pastor

Nick Gomez
I was born and raised in Dinuba and met the Lord Jesus Christ as my Savior on April 10, 1990, in a small Southern Baptist Church in Cutler, California. A radical transformation followed. Over the next years, I served with Youth for Christ, School Resource Chaplaincy, and as a youth pastor for more than 19 years in two different churches. I earned degrees from Reedley College and Golden Gate Baptist Theological Seminary.
I love sports, electronics, traveling with family, and serving. My real passions are seeking God, loving my wife Kristie and my children Frankie and Michael, winning people to Christ, and equipping students to serve my Lord Jesus Christ.

I was born in Visalia and raised in Dinuba by my wonderful, supportive parents. I have one younger brother with whom I have shared interests in sports and music. I became a Christian when I was in third grade while attending Vacation Bible School. I have fellowshipped here at First Baptist Church, Dinuba, since I was in the third grade. After high school, I started serving at the church in the nursery, children’s, and youth departments.
I earned degrees from Reedley College (Associate of Science in Biology), California State University, Fresno (Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology), and Fresno Pacific University (Multiple Subject Teaching Credential).
I am married to my husband, Paul, and we have three wonderful children. I love to camp, travel, and go to sporting events. I enjoy teaching students new and interesting things that will help them be successful, lifelong learners.
