June 13 - Sunday Worship Service
We invite you to join us Sunday morning at 9:00 am for our worship service. However, if you need to stay home, we will be posting a recording of the service here on Sunday afternoon. Check back here, on our Youtube Channel, or on our Facebook page Sunday.
Sunday Worship Service
9:00 a.m. Service
We believe gathered worship is an essential command of God and an essential need of God’s people and have decided to provide it by meeting indoors for our Sunday worship service. Recently, the deacons and Pastor Rick decided to take an additional step forward by removing the imposed COVID-19 restrictions in our worship services.
The continued drop in cases, hospitalizations, and deaths, as well as the availability of vaccines for all adults should give us great confidence to remove any imposed limitations from our gathered worship.
Forced social distancing has been lifted, masks will be entirely voluntary, the Fellowship Hall will be open for after-service fellowship, and the communion plates and offering bags will be passed down the aisles. This will feel very strange at first! We pray it will also be an exciting step forward as a church family and an encouraging step toward one another as brother and sister in Christ.
Additionally, we will continue to provide masks, use the Fellowship Hall as an overflow room during service, and upload worship services to our Facebook and YouTube pages. We will also allow ministry leaders to make different COVID-19 protocol decisions for their ministries for the time being.
We will continue to monitor our congregation's health closely while maintaining real, gathered Sunday worship for the glory of our Lord, the spiritual health of our church, and the present ministry of the gospel.
