Missionaries

Global Missionaries/Ministries
Local Missionaries/Ministries
. . . for, “Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.” How, then, can they call on the one they have not believed in? And how can they believe in the one of whom they have not heard? And how can they hear without someone preaching to them? And how can anyone preach unless they are sent? As it is written: “How beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news!” Romans 10:15

We regularly receive letters from the 14 missionary families we support all over the world. Pick up copies of our current letters in the lobby.  We are blessed, as a church, to support our missionaries through donations as well as prayer.  Each week we feature specific missionaries and ministries and ask you to pray for their specific needs.
Missionary Goal

Our Missions Committee has set a goal to link each of the 14 missionaries we support around the world to someone in our church. If you become a contact person, you would exchange emails and/or letters with the missionary as often as you like. Interested?

Thank you so much for supporting our work here in Mexico.  As you know, the main emphasis of much of what we do is training people for the ministry and work in the church, and this has helped the influence of our ministry reach much further than our missionaries could have ever reached on their own.

Vic and Joyce LaBelle

The LaBelles moved to Mexico in 1981 and started the Maranatha Independent Baptist Church in Cuernavaca. They conducted many home Bible studies, did youth work, and organized and directed the yearly youth camps from 1987-1998. In June of 1999 the church was turned over to a national pastor.
Vic preaches in a number of churches needing help. He also conducts a music camp, teaches Old Testament History and a music class in a Bible institute in Chamilpa.
