Awana - Awana is every Wednesday at 6:15 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. throughout the school year except for holidays. The cost is $20 per child for the first two siblings and $10 each additional sibling. Bible Study Fellowship at First Baptist: Bible Study Fellowship begins Sept. 9th here at First Baptist Church! BSF is an interdenominational Bible study that emphasizes a person’s relationship with Christ through the study of His Word. This year’s study will be on Revelation titled, “The Hope.” It will be for women only, at this point, from 6:00 to 7:30 PM. Please visit bsfinternational.org to get registered. This year we are making a new Photo Directory for 2025! Photo Shoots will be every Sunday beginning September 1st and running through December 15th at 11 am to 12 pm in the Fellowship Hall. 11-11:30 am is by appointment and 11:30 am-12 pm is for non appointments. You can sign up for an appointment in the Fellowship Hall. If you are able to help with the photo shoot please see Jessica Salazar so she can add you to the schedule.
Esther Bible Study: A daytime women’s Bible Study beginning September 9th at 10 am. Facilitators will be Rebecca Johnson and Lora Haston. If you would like to participate, please sign up in the social hall. We will be studying Esther: The Hidden Hand of God.

Raisin Day Parade Sign Ups - Our Children’s Ministry will participate in the Dinuba Raisin Day Parade this Saturday, September 28, at 10 a.m. If you would like to join us please sign up in the lobby at the message center or in the Fellowship Hall. We will ride on a trailer behind a truck and space is limited so sign up as soon as possible. For more information contact Chris Methvin at 591-0234.
Church Booth at Dinuba Raisin Day Festival - Our church will be setting up a booth at the Raisin Day Festival Saturday, September 28 from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.! We will be handing out Gospel tracts, Bibles, and fliers to be a witness in our community and let people know about our church and our Lord Jesus Christ!
Fall Floral Design - Attention all women! You are invited to join us for a fun day to learn how to make your very own flower arrangement. This event will be held on October 5 from 9 am to 1 pm. We will be showing you how to make a Fall floral arrangement using a cornucopia. We ask that you bring an appetizer or a snack to share. Please sign up in the Fellowship Hall if you are planning to attend. You will be given a list of supplies you will need after you have signed up. Newcomer’s Class: Church Essentials - Would you like to know more about our church, membership, or baptism? We invite you to attend our Newcomer’s Church Essentials classes! The classes will center on the essential truths of the gospel of Jesus Christ and the beliefs of our church. It will also give you an opportunity to get to know our pastors, leadership, and other new people in our church.
The classes will be on four Sundays in October (6th, 13th, 20th, 27th) at 10:45 a.m. in the upstairs Youth Room (6:30 p.m. on 10/13 due to the business meeting). It is open to everyone, new or old, member or not, but is a requirement for membership or baptism. Questions? Ask Pastor Rick or call our church office.

Baptism Sunday - Have you been baptized? Sunday, November 3, we are planning to have a baptism service! If you are at least nine years old and have never been baptized by immersion as a believer in the only Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, what are you waiting for?
Contact Pastor Rick on Sunday or at the church office to let him know you need to be baptized. All baptismal candidates will need to participate in the Church Essentials class starting October 6.

Biblical Counseling - We all encounter various life stages and trials that require the wisdom and insight of God's Word. Our ministry staff are here to help. Pastor Rick, Pastor Nick, and our Children's Director Chris have walked with various adults and students through difficult life decisions, identity confusion, marital conflict, premarital preparation, financial hardship, substance abuse, and more.
