1. It will give you the right to attend our church business meetings, give your input, and vote on the many issues that come up in our business meetings.
2. It will encourage our pastors and your fellow church members. Uniting with us in membership is one way you can say, “Count on me!”
3. It makes our church stronger, because it sends the message, “I want to make myself accountable to this body of Christ.”
4. It gives greater unity to our church. Every member goes through our Newcomers Orientation, where Pastor Rick discusses what we stand for and believe. This eliminates disagreement among our members about major doctrines and policies. Thus, membership makes division in our church less likely.
We welcome everyone who worships with us, and we consider everyone who attends regularly a part of our church family. Questions? Talk to Pastor Rick or call him at 591-0234.
Baptism is the method that the Bible has set up for a believer in Christ to say, “I want everyone to know that Jesus has washed away all my sins!” We’ll hold a baptism service here on Sunday, May 15, in both of our morning worship services. If you’re at least nine years old, a Christian, and have not yet been immersed in water as a public profession of your faith in Christ, you should be baptized. To sign up, write “baptism” on a registration card or speak to Pastor Tom or call him this week at 591-0234. If you prefer, you may have Pastor Rick or Pastor Nick baptize you.
